Backing up your Apps and personal data before any development work is one of the most important task to do. Whether you’re checking out a new or just simply performing a normal firmware update, you should always make a of all your Android Apps and personal data like Messages, Pictures etc. If you have rooted your device, then there are tons of Apps available on Google Play Store which can backup your Apps easily. However, for those who haven’t rooted their device, I have written this step by step guide on without Root easily to your PC.

This is by far one of the most easiest methods out there to backup android apps. Whenever you have to flash a Custom ROM, you’ll have to Wipe all the data in your device in order to flash it. So, it is recommended that you make a backup of your device in case you don’t like the new Custom ROM and want to get back to your stock firmware or previous ROM. Or chances are that something might go wrong with the installation. If you have made a backup of your Android Apps, you can easily restore them without any hassle and you won’t have to go through the trouble of installing each and every Application again. We’ll be using an App called Super Backup to backup Android Apps. Just follow the step by step tutorial below in order to do so!

You can backup apps & contacts & SMS & Call logs & Bookmarks & Calendars to the SD card/Google Drive/Gmail. You will never lose your data again!

How to Backup Android Apps without Root

Step 1: Install Super Backup from Google Play store to your device and open it up.

Step 2: After that, tap on Apps and you’ll get the following screen from which you have to choose the apps you want to backup.

Step 3: After that tap on Backup button below and it’ll start backing up your Apps.

Step 4: When it is done with the backup, connect your device to your computer, navigate to root folder of your device and copy a folder named “SmsContactsBackup”.

Step 5: Now if you want to restore all the Apps, all you have to do is copy the “SmsContactsBackup” folder back to your device from your computer and restore it using Super Backup App.

That’s it! You have successfully backed up your Android Apps. This App can also backup your SMS, Calls, Contacts and other stuff too. If you want to backup all of the things, follow the tutorials below in order to do so:
