How to Backup SMS Messages on Android
Step 1: Install SMS Backup & Restore app from Google Play Store and open it up.
Step 2: Tap Backup button and it will ask you to choose a backup folder. After choosing a folder, tap on Ok.
Step 3: After that, set the name of the backup file. It will be in XML Format and tap Ok to start the backup.
Step 4: Once the backup is finished, your phone will vibrate and you’ll get the following screen.
