Microsoft Edge is one of the new and best web browsers out there that works wonderfully on both traditional desktop and as well as touch devices. It is sharp looking browser which works fast, offers an easy-to-use layout and its miles ahead of Internet Explorer.
The demand of extensions was present from the start and it grew stronger over time. Windows have finally taken notice and in Windows build 14291 Windows have allowed user to add extensions to their Microsoft Edge and personalize and customize it according to their need.
Install Edge browser extensions
Step 1: Open Edge browser and click on the three dots located on the top right of the screen to access options and then click Extensions.
Step 2: Click Get Extensions to go to the official extension page.
Step 3: Scroll down the page to see all the available extensions.
Step 4: Select an app you want to download and click the download button.
Step 5: Once the download is completed, click on the downloaded app to run setup or go to the folder where extension is saved to install it from there.
Step 6: Once it’s downloaded, open Edge browser and click on the three dots and click Extension.
Step 7: Now click on Load Extension button and then navigate to the folder where the extension is downloaded.
Step 8: Select the extension folder and then click Select Folder to load the selected extension. Your newly installed extension should now be ready to use.
