The Downloads folder is one of the most frequently used folder in any version of Windows. By default all the downloaded files are stored in Downloads folder unless you change it.
There are couple of ways to access it from desktop as well as from the File Explorer. You can either type it in the taskbar search or start menu search bar and then press enter or also you can open File Explorer and then click Downloads.
You can also open I from the Run command, launch it by pressing Windows logo + R hotkey and then type Downloads and press enter.
But one of the easiest way to access it if it is pinned to taskbar and in this guide we will see exactly how to do that.

Step 1: Open File Explorer, on the left hand side you will see Downloads listed, right-click on it and then click Desktop (create shortcut) to have the shortcut created.
Step 2: Now drag and drop the shortcut created from desktop to taskbar.
