Microsoft Solitaire Collection is introduced in Windows 10 to replace the classic games that were part of Windows 7 and previous versions. The collections consists of five card games namely Classic Solitaire, Spider, FreeCell, Pyramid, and TriPeaks.
Microsoft has released various updates for various issues being faced by the users
but you may still face many issues while playing these games. If the app is not
opening or hanging you can simply reset the app to fix the issue.
Reset Microsoft Solitaire Collection
When you will reset the app it will reset all the data saved by Microsoft Solitaire Collection. So if you don’t want that, try fixing the issue without resetting the app.
Following is the method to how to reset the app in Windows 10.
* The ability to reset Windows 10 apps feature was introduced with Anniversary update build 14372. So make sure that you’re running 14372 or later build of Windows 10 by typing Winver.exe in Start menu search and then pressing Enter key.
Step 1: Open Settings, click System and then Apps and features.
Step 2: Click on the entry named Microsoft Solitaire Collection and then click it.
Step 3: When you click on the app entry, you will see Advanced options link. Click the Advanced options link.
Step 4: Click the Reset button and then click the Reset button again when you see the confirmation dialog. Once the reset job is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button.
Step 5: Try opening Microsoft Solitaire Collection app now. It should open now and work without any issues.
