Cortana is digital personal assistant in Windows 10 which helps you to search for files on PC, track packages, manage your time and calendar, quickly search the web and also find answers to your questions.
Cortana is not available in all regions as it is still evolving but it is proving to be and has the potential to be one of the best features in Windows 10.
Cortana has its limitations as it can’t be used to initiate a shutdown, restart or hibernate as there is no command present to perform these tasks using Cortana.
Users use Cortana to perform tasks quickly. If you find Cortana very useful and want it to use to shutdown, restart or hibernate your PC you need to follow the following sequences. First we need to allocate shortcuts to these functions and then use Cortana to use one of these files to shutdown, hibernate, restart or sleep your computer.

Step 1: First thing is we need to create shortcuts for the functions we want Cortana to perform in the following folder.

It will open Program folder.
Step 2: Right-click on the empty area, click New, click Short, type one of the following commands, enter the name for the shortcut as Shutdown, restart, hibernate or sleep, and then click Finish button to crate the shutdown shortcut.
Use the following commands to create the shortcuts.
shutdown -s -t 0

For log off:
